Anaheim, CA—Campaign finance reports due at the end of June show that Ashleigh Aitken has raised $550,000 in her race for Anaheim Mayor, signaling broad support for her campaign to bring people together to make Anaheim an even better place to live and work for every resident.
Ashleigh has elevated her campaign by spending months meeting with neighbors and small business owners about solving problems in Anaheim. In a clear distinction from the other candidates, Ashleigh has raised all of her campaign funds from individuals, businesses, and unions while other candidates have artificially propped up their campaigns with six-figure checks from their personal bank accounts.
“In every neighborhood, people talk with me about the need to solve homelessness and housing affordability, and increase public safety. They’re joining our campaign because they see I have the experience, as a former federal prosecutor and a former Chair of the Anaheim Community Services Board, to unite residents and get city hall focused on fixing problems,” said Ashleigh Aitken, a consumer protection attorney. “I’m extremely appreciative to receive this level of support from so many people in Anaheim.”
